TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HORSE LANE, SHELDON
WHEN: 02 November to 15 November 2026
WHERE: Horse Lane, Sheldon between entrance to Redhouse Farm and Jct. with Grin Low, and jct. with Johnson Lane.
REASON: To facilitate STW water main renewal. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Horse Lane, Chapel Street, The Square, Church Street, B5055, Green Lane, Grin Low and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
