The Council proposes to make the Borough of Telford & Wrekin, Wellington Road, Newport (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst drainage works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 29/10/26 between the hours of 9:30am and 15:00pm. The following road is affected: Wellington Road, Newport from its jcn with Brookside Ave to its jcn with Silverdale Cl. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 29/10/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
