(Active Travel Scheme) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Orders 2026
Notice is hereby given that North Lincolnshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make Orders in respect of the under-mentioned Highways in Barton upon-Humber, which are not already the subject of a Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order.
The effect of each Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the under mentioned Roads, Street, Lane and Drive on the dates and times stated, although these are subject to confirmation. Each Highway will be closed for the works stated in connection with the Barton Active Travel Scheme. All dates are inclusive and all diversion routes are in reverse.
Oak Drive - section at the entrance - 30th Oct-6th Nov 2026 7pm-9.30pm for resurfacing - no diversion because Oak Drive is a cul-de-sac.
Tofts Rd - section between Forkedale and Millfields - 27th Oct-6th Nov 2026 9.30am-3pm Mon-Fri for resurfacing - Warwick Drive, Pitman Ave, Forkedale, Warrendale.
Millfields - section at the Tofts Rd Junction - 27th Oct-6th Nov 2026 9.30am-3pm Mon-Fri for resurfacing - Diversion

2 Millfields, Bowmandale, Providence Crescent, Grange Ave, Tofts Rd.
Barrow Rd - between Green Lane and Baysgarth School - 9th Nov-10th Nov 2026 overnight to remove a traffic island diversion A1077, A15, B1206, Wold Rd, A1077.
Whitecross St - between Preston Lane and A1077 - from 8am 10th Dec-6pm 18th Dec 2026 to construct Active
Travel Cycle Routes including Traffic Control - diversion Preston Lane, B1218, A1077.
Barrow Rd - between Whitecross St and Church View - from 8am 10th Dec-6pm 18th Dec 2026 to construct Active
Travel Cycle Routes including Traffic Control - diversion A1077, A15, B1206, Wold Rd, A1077.
Market Lane - between Whitecross St and The Old Mill - from 8am 10th Dec-6pm 18th Dec 2026 to construct Active
