(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from proceeding along the length of road set out in the Schedule below whilst the Order is in force. During such periods as are indicated by traffic signs informing the public that the road is closed.
The Order is necessary to enable the closure of the length of road set out in the schedule below in the interests of road safety and preventing danger to the travelling public at the location.
The Order will come into force on the 21st October 2026 and shall continue in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.
SCHEDULE
Pontneathvaughan Link Road from B4242 to High Street will be closed from its junction with Pontneathvaughan Road in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 25m along its length.
There is no suitable alternative route for vehicular traffic.
