NOTICE is hereby given that the Department, acting in
pursuance of its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic
Regulation (NI) Order 1997, intends to close temporarily
to traffic:
A0029 Ring Road, Coleraine from the Lodge Road
Roundabout to the Strand Road Roundabout (Limavady
bound direction only)
The closure will be in place nightly, Monday to Saturday,
from 20:00 until 06:00, from Monday 19th October 2026
until Friday 4th December 2026 to facilitate drainage
upgrades and footpath construction works on behalf of DfI.
Traffic Marshals will be provided to allow for emergency
access. The Lodge Road Roundabout will be taken down to
one lane during the closure works causing possible delays.
Diversions will be via Lodge Road, Nursery Avenue, Terrace
Row, Bannfield Road, Hanover Place, A2 Bann Bridge,
Strand Road and will be signed accordingly.
