SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (PARISH OF EYKE) (THE STREET) (A1152) (30-MPH SPEED LIMIT) (REVOCATION) ORDER 202-

Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above Order for the Parish of Eyke under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which would be to introduce:

- a 30-mph speed limit on the Street (A1152) from a point 215 metres West of Eyke House for 152 metres. This will effectively extend the existing 30-mph speed limit that ends at the above-mentioned point.

- This Order seeks to replace the existing 40-mph speed limit along the same portion of the road by revoking the provisions of the Suffolk County Council (Parish of Eyke) (A1152) (Restricted Road And 40-mph Speed Limit) Order 2002 (the “2002 Order”), insofar as they relate to the 40mph speed limit applying only to the affected portion of the road specified in Schedule 2 of the 2002 Order.

Copies of the Draft Order, map showing the roads affected and the council’s reasons for the proposals, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday; also at Woodbridge Library, New Street, Woodbridge, IP12 1DT, from: Monday: 10am - 5pm, Tuesday: 9am - 6.30pm, Wednesday: 9am - 5.30pm, Thursday: 9am - 5.30pm, Friday: 9am - 7pm, Saturday: 9am - 5pm and Sunday: 10am - 4pm.
