Wymondham - Proposed 20mph Speed Limit Zone and Speed Limit Amendment
What is happening?
THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
(WYMONDHAM, VARIOUS ROADS)
(20 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) ORDER 202X
Norfolk County Council propose to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of this Order will be to:
1. Introduce a 20mph Speed Limit Zone and thereby prohibit any motor vehicle from exceeding 20 miles per hour along the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below.
2. De-restrict the length of Cranes Meadow Way specified in the Schedule below.
A copy of the draft Order, a plan and Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be viewed online at www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of South Norfolk Council, Horizon Business Centre, Peachman Way, Norwich, NR7 0WF, during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.
Any objections and representations relating to the Order must be made in writing and must specify the grounds on which they are made. All correspondence for these proposals must be received at the office or online, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH, marked for the attention of the Inlaw Traffic Regulation Order Team by 3rd November 2026. They may also be emailed to trafficorders@norfolk.gov.uk.
