ORDER 2026
On the 6th October 2026 The East Renfrewshire Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to prohibit vehicles parking on a section of Douglas Avenue (both sides between the junctions of Douglas Gardens and Otterburn Drive), Giffnock and Percy Drive (both sides between the junction of Douglas Avenue and property number 21), Giffnock, in order to facilitate the safe operation of Scottish Power utility works on or near the road, scheduled to be carried out from 08:00 on Monday 19th October to 17:00 on Friday 30th October 2026.
The parking prohibition will be applied to sections of the road as and when required relative to the progress of the works and will apply to all vehicles with the exception of those associated with the works and emergency vehicles attending an incident.
