Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Footpath LI-582, Leigh) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 14 October 2024 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath LI-582, Leigh for its entire length which was due to expire on 14 October 2026 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 14 April 2028 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.

The Order has been made to facilitate the construction associated with a new housing development on land crossed by the footpath.

Alternative route: Footway of A4103 to grid ref: 378103, 150839; northerly on Leigh footpath LI-613 to junction with LI-580, LI-612 and LI-582 at Grid ref: 378094, 250887 and vice versa.
