PROPOSED RAISED JUNCTION PLATEAU ON
HEYWOOD STREET AND BIGNOR STREET, CHEETHAM
NOTICE is hereby given that Manchester City Council proposes to introduce:
Raised Junction Plateau: 75mm high (+/- 3mm), full width of the carriageway, with gradients no steeper than 1:10 at the junction of Heywood Street and Bignor Street.
Bignor Street - from 10m east of Heywood Street to 8.5m west of Heywood Street (length of 26.5m)
Heywood Street - from 5m north of Bignor Street to 26.5m south of Bignor Street (length of 39.1m)
A plan showing the location of the Raised Junction Plateau can be requested by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or examined in person by appointment at the Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm.
Objections to the proposals must be sent in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the address below, stating the grounds on which they are made, no later than 6th November 2026. Please quote reference L/ JUH/HIG002/84246
