Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A46 Shurdington Road, from its junction with the A417 to its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 320 metres. The reason for the closure is to allow road improvement works, including cleaning the road surface and applying new road markings.

The said road is expected to be closed from 20:00hrs on 12th October 2026 until 06:00hrs on 13th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C220, Cold Pool Lane Road from its junction with Badgeworth Lane to outside of the property known as ‘Bluebell Farm’ for a distance of approximately 1.1 kilometres. The reason for the closure is for broadband installation works.

The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 12th October 2026 until 18:00hrs on 23rd October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 14th October 2026 until 16:00hrs on 16th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF B4063 LONDON ROAD (ONE WAY IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION) (KINGSHOLM & WOTTON WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY

Gloucestershire County Council, as highway authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily restrict part of the B4063 London Road, from its junction with Great Western Road to its junction with Alvin Street for a distance of approximately 45 metres. The reason for the restriction is to allow traffic to flow smoothly whilst works are undertaken.

Restriction: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along the Road other than in an Easterly direction throughout the duration of the said works.

The road was originally restricted for 21 days, by Emergency Notice from 18th October 2026.

The works are still ongoing; it is therefore now necessary to make a restriction Order. The road is expected to be restricted from the 9th October 2026 until 30th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
