(C5089 DUKE STREET AND U5431 MOSS LANE, HOLME)
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Westmorland and Furness Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road in Holme;
(i) C5089 Duke Street, from a point approx. 100 metres south west of its junction with Milnthorpe Road, extending in an overall southerly direction for approx. 160 metres.
Alternative Route: Via the unrestricted sections of the C5089, Station Road. Station Lane (C5059), Taptits Lane, Burton Road (A6070) and the B6384.
(ii) U5431 Moss Lane, from its junction with the C3089, extending in a westerly direction for approx. 55 metres.
Alternative Route: Via the unrestricted section of the U5431, C5090, A6, B6385 and the B6384.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

The Order will come into operation on 30th October 2026 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 1 day and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
