(VARIATION) (NO. 5) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given under Regulation 17 of the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 (SI 1996/2489) that East Staffordshire Borough Council ("the Council") in exercise of its powers under sections 32, 33 and 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") has made the East Staffordshire Borough Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2017 (Variation) (No. 5) Order 2026 ("the Order") on 12th October 2026.
The effect of the Order has removed Burton Place (Surface) Car Park and Burton Place (Roof Top) Car Park from the Schedule following the Council's disposal of its freehold interest in those car parks.
A copy of the Order and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order is available free of charge by contacting LegalandAssets@eaststaffsbc.gov.uk and then visiting the Town Hall, King Edward Place, Burton upon Trent, DE14 2EB, by appointment between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and on the Council's website: www.eaststaffsbc.gov.uk.
