C254 OVINGTON MAIN ROAD THROUGH VILLAGE, OVINGTON C254 OVINGTON TO OVINGHAM, OVINGHAM C254 WEST ROAD OVINGHAM (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland:

• C254 Ovington Main Road Through Village from its junction with U8204 St Andrews Lane heading in a south eastwards direction for a distance of 50 metres.

• C254 Ovington to Ovingham from its junction with C254 Ovington Main Road Through Village heading in a south eastwards direction for its entire length.

• C254 West Road from its junction with C254 Ovington to Ovingham heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 80 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 2nd November 2026 until the 13th November 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd November 2026 until the 5th November 2026 between the hours of 20:00 & 07:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 13th November 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C254, C255, A69, B6309, C253 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

U8021 LEASIDE BANK ALLENDALE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U8021 Leaside Bank Allendale from its junction with B6303 Allendale Main Road heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 150 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 29th October 2026 until the 31st October 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 29th October 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 13:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st October 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6303, B6295, U8024, U8022, U8021 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

C242 BRIDGE END HEXHAM (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C242 Bridge End Hexham from its junction with A6079 Hexham to Hexham Bypass heading in a north eastwards direction for a distance of 1150 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 26th October 2026 until the 16th April 2027.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 26th October 2026 until the 30th October 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 and from the 2nd November 2026 until the 4th November 2026 between the hours of 18:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th April 2027.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via A6079, A69, C242, B6529 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B6309 WHITTLE DENE RESERVOIR WELTON (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6309 Welton to Whittle Dene Reservoir Welton from its point outside Whittle Dene Reservoir House for a distance of 210 metres in a southerly direction in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 31st October 2026 until the 28th February 2027.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 31st October 2026 until the 27th November 2026. The road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 28th February 2027.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6309, B6318, C247, and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U5032 WARK JUNCTION TO WARKSHAUGH BANK JUNCTION WARK (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U5032 Wark Junction to Warkshaugh Bank Junction from its point with the rear of 1 Buckland Cottages heading in a south westerly direction for a distance of 80 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 12th October 2026 until the 6th November 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 12th October 2026 until the 23rd October 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 6th November 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via U5032, C213, C216, U5032 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B6295 ALLENDALE TOWN TO CATTON ALLENDALE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6295 Allendale Town to Catton from its junction with Allendale Tynedale District Bridleway 122 heading in a southwards direction for a distance of 55 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 12th October 2026 until the 20th November 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 12th October 2026 until the 23rd October 2026 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th November 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6295, B6303 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U7071 OLD ROAD FROM LEMMIELLER ROAD JUNCTION TO HALTWHISTLE, HALTWHISTLE (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U7071 Old Road from Lemmieller Road Junction to Haltwhistle from its junction with B6322 West Road to Townfoot heading in a southerly direction for a distance of 60 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 12th October 2026 until the 16th October 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 12th October 2026 until the 13th October 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th October 2026.

There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

C205 COL COTES TO WARK, WARK (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C205 Colcotes to Wark from its point with the front of Dean Burn House in a north westwards direction for a distance of 60 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 19th October 2026 until the 26th October 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 19th October 2026 between the hours of 08:00 & 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 26th October 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C205, B6320, C200, C204 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

C254 West Road to Hill Crest from its junction with C254 Hillcrest heading in a westwards direction for its entire length.

C254 West Road from its junction with C254 West Road to Hill Crest heading in a south westwards direction for its entire length.

C254 Ovington to Ovingham from its junction with C254 West Road heading in a south westwards direction for a length of 120 metres.

The Order is to be effective from the 19th October 2026 until the 30th October 2026.

It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 19th October 2026 until the 30th October 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th October 2026.

An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C254, A69, B6528, C257 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The Order is to be effective from the 14th October 2026 until the 23rd October 2026.

It is expected that the footway will only be closed from the 14th October 2026 until the 16th October 2026 and that the footway will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 23rd October 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 15th October 2026 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 21st October 2026.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Bellingham Public Footpath Number 14, in the County of Northumberland.

The route is described as follows:

Parish of Bellingham Public Footpath Number 14

From a point on the B6320 (Bellingham – Wark) road at the north-east end of the bridge over the River North Tyne, in an easterly and south-easterly direction, for a distance of 375 metres to join the public road at the south-west end of Bellingham, at a point 30 metres south west of Welbrook, Sunnydale, Bellingham.

There is no alternative route available.

The Order is to be effective from the 12th October 2026 until the 1st January 2027, or until works are complete.
