LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(FALLBARN CRESCENT AND LAVENDER HILL AREAS, RAWTENSTALL, ROSSENDALE BOROUGH) (ROAD HUMPS)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980, Lancashire County Council propose the following:
1) Introduce a junction table in the following locations: a) Fallbarn Crescent, Rawtenstall, from the intersection of the centreline of Hall Carr Road for a distance of 15.63 metres in a south westerly direction and a distance of 7.34 metres in a north easterly direction; b) Hall Carr Road, Rawtenstall, from the intersection of the centreline of Fallbarn Crescent for a distance of 15.33 metres in a north westerly direction and a distance of 7.37 metres in a south easterly direction; c) Carr Lane, Rawtenstall, from the intersection of the centreline of Fallbarn Crescent for a distance of 12.41 metres in a north westerly direction and a distance of 11.28 metres in a south easterly direction; d) Fallbarn Crescent, Rawtenstall, from the intersection of the centreline of Carr Lane for a distance of 9.56 metres in a north easterly direction and a distance of 11.55 metres in a south westerly direction.
2) Introduce a raised table in the following locations: a) Fallbarn Crescent, Rawtenstall, from a point 6.35 metres east of its junction with the centreline of Lomas Lane for a distance of 9.22 metres in an easterly direction; b) Lomas Lane, Rawtenstall, from a point 11.63 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Fallbarn Crescent for a distance of 9 metres in a northerly direction; c) Almond Crescent, Rawtenstall, from its junction with Lavender Hill for a distance of 4.65 metres in a south westerly direction; d) Larch Close, Rawtenstall, from its junction with Lavender Hill for a distance of 4.65 metres in a south westerly direction; e) Heather Bank, Rawtenstall, from its junction with Lavender Hill for a distance of 4.65 metres in a north easterly direction; f) Chestnut Drive, Rawtenstall, from its junction with Lavender Hill for a distance of 9.31 metres in a south westerly direction; g) Yew Tree Grove, Rawtenstall, from its junction with Lavender Hill for a distance of 4.92 metres in a north easterly direction. The raised tables will have a maximum height not exceeding 75 mm.
A copy of the relevant notice and plan, indicating the proposal may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of the Rossendale Borough Council - One Stop Shop, The Business Centre, Futures Park, Newchurch Road, Bacup, OL13 0BB and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-andtravel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanenttraffic-regulation-orders/. Any representations or objections (specifying the grounds on which they are made) relating to the proposal must be made in writing and should be sent to The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, P O Box 100, County Hall, Preston PR1 0LD or by e-mail to troconsultation@lancashire.gov.uk quoting ref: LSG4/106109/AFR before 6th November 2026.
