What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL FOOTPATH NO. 34 SILSDEN, SILSDEN TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council is satisfied pedestrians on or near Footpath No. 34 Silsden, Silsden should be restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath No. 34 Silsden from its junction with Public Footpath No. 44 Silsden for approximately 120 metres in an easterly direction.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to pedestrians connected with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

No alternative routes for pedestrians traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 22nd October 2026 and remain in force until 17:00 hours on the 21st April 2027 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
