ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL HOWARD STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Howard Street, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Howard Street from a point outside No. 14 Howard Street to a point outside No. 24 Howard Street.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Little Horton Lane, Shester Street, Morley Street and Lansdowne Place.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 20th of October 2026 and remain in force until 18;00 hours on the 22nd of October 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
