Lower Wyke Lane - Temporary Road Closure due to Gas Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL LOWER WYKE LANE, WYKE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Lower Wyke Lane, Wyke, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Lower Wyke Lane from a point outside the Manor House to a point outside No. 123 Lower Wyke Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Lower Wyke Lane (unaffected section), Wyke Old Lane, Bradford Road, Whitehall Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation effect at 08:00 hours on the 12th October 2026 and remain in force until 23:55 hours on the 30th October 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
