What is happening?

CITY OF BRISTOL

(CROMER ROAD, EASTON, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Cromer Road which extends from Greenbank Road to Robertson Road.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 2nd November 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 2nd November 2026 and 18th December 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Greenbank Road, Daisy Road, Robertson Road and vice versa

(RED HOUSE LANE, WESTBURY-ON-TRYM, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Red House Lane which extends from the common boundary line of No.10 and No.12 Red House Lane to the common boundary line of No.13 and No.15 Red House Lane.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 16th November 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 16th November 2026 and 20th November 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Red House Lane (part unaffected), Coombe Lane, Parrys Lane, Stoke Lane, Stoke Grove, Red House Lane (part unaffected) and vice versa

(LEIGH STREET, SOUTHVILLE, BRISTOL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles that length of Leigh Street which extends from Greenway Bush Lane to the common boundary line of No.5 and No.5a Leigh Street.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road and will be operative from 9th November 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 9th November 2026 and 6th December 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Leigh Street (part unaffected), Lower Sidney Street, Greenway Bush Lane and vice versa

(ALONG ST. JOHNS CEMETERY FOOTPATH, BEDMINSTER, BRISTOL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY FOOT PASSENGERS AND PEDAL CYCLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the City Council of Bristol in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to pedestrians and pedal cycles that length of Along St. Johns Cemetery Footpath which extends from Bedminster Road to St. Johns Lane.

The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the path and will be operative from 26th October 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

However, the closure may not be implemented for the whole of the period, but only as necessitated by the works (which are anticipated to take place between 26th October 2026 and 6th November 2026).

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: St. Johns Lane, Bedminster Road and vice versa
