What is happening?

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (As Amended) Dudden Hill Lane And Meyrick Road (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 202*

THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT hereby give notice that, to facilitate a pole swap and internal cabinets upgrade and associated works in Dudden Hill Lane and Meyrick Road, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to prohibit:-
(a) vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting, loading or unloading in that length of Meyrick Road, which lies between the south-western kerb line of Dudden Hill Lane and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 38 to 42 and No. 44 Meyrick Road;

(b) pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the lengths of:-
i. the south-western footway of Dudden Hill Lane, which lies between the south-eastern kerb line of Meyrick Road and a point 36.00 metres south-east of that kerb line; and
ii. the south-eastern footway of Meyrick Road, which lies between the south-western kerb line of Dudden Hill Lane and a point opposite the party wall of Nos. 38 to 42 and No. 44 Meyrick Road.

When and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.

The prohibitions referred to in (a) and (b) above would apply between 20th October 2026 and 21st October 2026 or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Works are expected to take place between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.

Access to premises in or adjacent to Dudden Hill Lane and Meyrick Road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions referred to in (a) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.

Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (b) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
