Mae Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, mewn nid llai na 7 diwrnod wedi dyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn a’i effaith gyffredinol fydd atal unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio neu fynd ar hyd:

I. Moore Road o’r gyffordd â’r Rhodfa Fawr (Grand Avenue) am tua 20 metr i’r gogledd

II. Y Rhodfa Fawr tua’r gorllewin o bwynt 172 metr o'r gyffordd â Heol Howell am 74 metr

III.Y Rhodfa Fawr tua’r dwyrain o bwynt 76 metr o'r gyffordd â Heol Wilson am 74 metr

Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol i hwyluso gwaith ar neu ger y briffordd, a disgwylir iddo fod yn weithredol:
• Rhwng 8.00am a 6.00pm Ddydd Sul 18 Hydref 2026

• O 7:00pm Ddydd Llun 19 Hydref 2026 tan 5:00am Ddydd Mawrth 20 Hydref 2026

• O 7:00pm Ddydd Mawrth 20 Hydref 2026 i 5.00am Ddydd Mercher 21 Hydref 2026

• O 7:00pm Ddydd Mercher 21 Hydref 2026 i 5:00am Ddydd Iau 22 Hydref 2026

• O 7:00pm Ddydd Iau 22 Hydref 2026 tan 5.00am Ddydd

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC PROPOSAL
THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF 
(MOORE ROAD AND GRAND AVENUE, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES) ORDER 2026

The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicles from using or proceeding along:

I. Moore Road from its junction with Grand Avenue in a northerly direction for a distance of 20 metres

II. Grand Avenue in a westbound direction from a point 172 metres from its junction with Howell Road for a distance of 74 metres

III. Grand Avenue in an eastbound direction from a point 76 metres from its junction with Wilson Road for a distance of 74 metres

The Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near to the highway and is expected to be in operation:

• Between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm on Sunday 18th October 2026

• From 7:00pm on Monday 19th October 2026 to 5:00am on Tuesday 20th October 2026

• From 7:00pm on Tuesday 20th October 2026 to 5:00am on Wednesday 21st October 2026

• From 7:00pm on Wednesday 21st October 2026 to 5:00am on Thursday 22nd October 2026

• From 7:00pm on Thursday 22nd October 2026 to 5:00am on Friday 23rd October 2026 

The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the above closures will be via Moore Road, Courtis Road, Wilson Road, Highbury Road and Crossways Road.

The Order will be known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Moore Road and Grand Avenue, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2026”.
