Mae Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd wrth arfer ei bwerau dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, yn bwriadu, mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn atal unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio neu yrru ar hyd Rhodfa Lloyd George o’r gyffordd â Heol Hemingway i’r gyffordd â Ffordd Garthorne.
Mae’r Gorchymyn yn ofynnol i hwyluso gwaith ar neu ger y briffordd, a disgwylir iddo fod mewn grym o ddydd Sadwrn 17 Hydref 2026 tan ddydd Gwener 30 Ebrill 2027 neu nes bod y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau.
Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.
Y llwybr amgen i gerbydau a effeithir gan hyn fydd drwy y Rhodres, Stryd James, Heol y Gorfforaeth, Heol Penarth, Ffordd Tresillian, Sgwâr Callaghan, Stryd Herbert a Rhodfa Lloyd George.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC PROPOSAL
THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF
(LLOYD GEORGE AVENUE, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicles from using or proceeding along Lloyd George Avenue from its junction with Hemingway Road to its junction with Ffordd Garthorne.
The Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near to the highway and is expected to be in operation from Saturday 17th October 2026 until Friday 30th April 2027 or until works are complete.
The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by this closure will be via The Flourish, James Street, Corporation Road, Penarth Road Tresillian Way, Callaghan Square, Herbert Street, and Lloyd George Avenue.
The Order will be known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Lloyd George Avenue, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026”.
