NOTICE 2026
NOTICE: is hereby given that on the 6th October 2026 The Council of the City and County of Swansea made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers.
The order will be effective from 16th October 2026, as set out in the schedules below. A copy of the order and plan may be inspected during office hours at Y Storfa, 277-278 Oxford St, Swansea SA1 3EL.
Any person wishing to challenge the validity of the order or procedures used in making this order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date the order was made.
SCHEDULE 1
REVOCATIONS
The existing orders are revoked as far as they are inconsistent with the proposals hereinafter contained which relate to the length or lengths of the road or roads referred to in the schedules hereto.
SCHEDULE 2
PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME HEOL Y GEIFR
On its northern side from a point 15 metres southwest of the westernmost boundary of No.12 Swansea Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly then northerly direction.
HEOL Y GEIFR (Fronting No.22 Swansea Road)
On its western side from its junction with the southern kerbline of the access road to the 'Plough & Harrow' Public House Car Park for a distance of 32 metres in a southerly direction.
On its eastern side from its junction with the western kerbline of Swansea Road (B4489) for a distance of 22 metres in a westerly then southerly direction.
SWANSEA ROAD (B4489)
On its western side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Heol Y Geifr for a distance of 19 metres in a southerly direction.
CLOS YR EFAIL
On its northeastern side from a point 48 metres northwest to a point 73 metres north of the northwestern kerbline of Mynydd Gelli Wastad Road, a distance of 25 metres.
SCHEDULE 3
BUS STOP CLEARWAY
SWANSEA ROAD (B4489)
On its western side from a point 5 metres south of its junction with the southern kerbline of Heol Y Geifr for a distance of 14 metres in a southerly direction.
