Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction in that length of Church Road/Park Road, Rivenhall in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 300m south of the junction of Parkgate Road for a distance of approximately 475m in a south westerly then south easterly direction. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 4th November 2026 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP40073015800 – Parkgate Farm Solar Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while development construction works are undertaken by Parkgate Farm Solar Limited.
The Order will come into effect on 15th October 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Kelvedon Road, Coggeshall/Feering & Scrip’s Road, Coggeshall)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Kelvedon Road, Coggeshall/Feering in the District of Braintree, from the junction of Pointwell Lane for a distance of approximately 625m in a south easterly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Scrip’s Road, Coggeshall in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Kelvedon Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 2nd November 2026 for 70 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001469723, AZ5011001469724 & AZ5011001473358 – CADENT GAS LIMITED). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main upgrade works are undertaken by CADENT GAS LIMITED.
Alternative routes are available via:
1. B1024, A12, A120 and vice versa (with access only into Station Road, Coggeshall Road, Kelvedon Road, Grange Hill and Bridge Street).
2. A120, West Street and vice versa (with access only into The Street, Church Road, Cuthedge Lane and Scrip’s Road).

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kings Lane/The Street/Back Lane/Greenstead Green Road/Tumblers Green/Brook Farm Road, Stisted & Stisted Road/Grange Hill/Church Road/Greenstead Hall Road, Greenstead Green in the District of Braintree, from the junction of Colchester Road to the junction of Coggeshall Road a distance of approximately 9065m. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, White Notley in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 500m north east of its junction with Vicarage Avenue for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction.
