THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(GOLDTHORN ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Goldthorn Road one-way
closure from the junction of Penn Road to Grange Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the closure will be in place
from the 19 October 2026 from 08:00 until 19 October 2027
18:00.
The diversion route is: Penn Road, Goldthorn Hill,
Goldthorn Road.

refurbishment works to the Royal School by BAM
Construction Ltd.
