THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (WALLINGWELLS BRIDLEWAY NO.6) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION)
CONTINUATION NO.2 ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State Transport in pursuance of the powers conferred by Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 approves of The Nottinghamshire County Council (Wallingwells Bridleway No.6) Notice 2026 (which came into force on 9 th April 2026 and subsequently continued by a continuation order which continues in force until 9 th October 2026 inclusive) being extended and continuing in force until 9th April 2027 or until completion of the relevant works, whichever is the sooner.
The Order has the following effect:-
No person shall: -
(a) proceed on foot,
(b) cause any pedal cycle to proceed,
(c) cause any horse to proceed,
(d) cause any animal to proceed
in the following length of Bridleway at Wallingwells in the District of Bassetlaw: -
Wallingwells Bridleway No.6 from the adjoining point with Carlton in Lindrick Bridleway
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be as follows:-
No alternative route available via Public Rights of Way.
If the works are not completed within the above period the Order may be extended for a longer period with the further approval of the Secretary of State for Transport.
The prohibition is required to protect public safety until improvement works are carried out.
