Portsmouth City Council (Drayton Road) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.165) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 23rd October 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
CHICHESTER ROAD
From its junction with Drayton Road to outside No.70 Chichester Road on both sides.
DRAYTON ROAD
From its junction with Chichester Road to outside No. 51 Drayton Road on both sides.
From junction of Chichester Road to outside No. 28 Drayton Road on both sides.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate crossing improvement works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 23rd October 2026 to 13th November 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 08:00 - 16:00.
