(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC)
(VARIOUS ROADS) ORDER No.2 OCTOBER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles proceeding in the lengths of:
BIRMINGHAM STREET, WILLENHALL that is situated from its junction with Hodson Avenue to its junction with Brunslow Close. (09:30 – 15:30, Tuesday 20 October 2026).
Reason for Order: Repair defective frame and cover.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent.
MARGARET ROAD, DARLASTON that is situated from its junction with Banfield Road to its junction with Dangerfield Lane (Monday 19 October 2026 – Sunday 1 November 2026).
BANFIELD ROAD, DARLASTON that is situated from its junction with Dangerfield Lane to its junction with Margaret Road (Monday 26 October 2026 – Sunday 29 November 2026).
Reason for Order: New mains connection.
Works on behalf of: South Staffordshire Water.
BANKSIDE CRESCENT, STREETLY that is situated outside Nos.35-39 Bankside Crescent. (09:30 – 15:30) (Wednesday 21 October 2026).
VALLEY ROAD, STREETLY that is situated outside No.66 Valley Road. (09:30 – 15:30) (Thursday 22 October 2026).
Reason for Order: Highway repair work

WALSALL WOOD ROAD, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Stonnall Road to its junction with The Glades. (09:30 – 15:30) (Wednesday 28 October 2026).
Reason for Order: Repair defective frame and cover.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.
This Order will come into operation on Monday 19 October 2026. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signs will be erected on site indicating when the no stopping restriction will be in force and signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
