(TEMPLE STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Temple Street
closed at its junction with Snow Hill to the side of No.41
Snow Hill. The one-way system will be suspended to allow
access/egress to the car parks.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the closure will be in place
from the 15 October 2026 from 08:00 until 18 October 2026
16:00.
The diversion route is: Snow Hill, Ring Road, School Street,
Pitt Street, Worcester Street, Ring Road, St Johns and
Temple Street, Worcester Street, Ring Road St Johns,
Snow Hill.
The Order is required to facilitate installation of high voltage
cables to the new development site on Market Square by
HVSS.
