(BLACKMOORFOOT ROAD/ COWLERSLEY LANE/CROSLAND HILL ROAD, CROSLAND MOOR, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Blackmoorfoot Road/Cowlersley Lane/Crosland Hill Road, Crosland Moor from its junction with Thewlis Lane to Crosland Hill Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Blackmoorfoot Road, Gillroyd Lane, Cowlersley Lane, Manchester Road, Crosland Hill Road, Tom Lane, Blackmoorfoot Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 1 November 2026 between 20:00 hours to 05:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(RADCLIFFE STREET,
SKELMANTHORPE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Radcliffe Street, Skelmanthorpe from a point outside property no. 5 to a point outside property no. 15 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Butt Lane, Hepworth from its junction with Hepworth Road for approximately 30 metres PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Butt Lane, Town Gate, Main Gate, Foster Place, Sheffield Road, East Street, Hepworth Road, Chapel Bank.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 28 October 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(STONES LANE, LINTHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Stones Lane, Linthwaite from its junction with Chapel Hill to a point outside property no. 2 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday, 29 October 2026 between 09:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(QUEEN STREET, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Queen Street, from its junction with Queensgate for approximately 195 metres PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Sunday, 25 October 2026 and remain in force until 1 November 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HALIFAX OLD ROAD, BIRKBY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Halifax Old Road, Birkby from its junction with Ash Street to Miln Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bradford Road, Spaines Road, Halifax Old Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 30 October 2026 between 09:30 - 15:30 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LOWER QUARRY ROAD, BRADLEY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lower Quarry Road, Bradley from a point outside property no. 19 for approximately 50 metres in a northerly direction PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Plains Lane/Dirker Bank Road from a point outside property no. 17 Dirker Bank Road along Plains Lane to junction with Spring Head Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Back Honoria Street, Fartown form its junction with Wasp Nest Road to a point to rear of property no. 18 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cold Hill Lane, New Mill from its junction with Windy Ridge to its junction with High Meadow PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 28 October 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(GREEN CLIFF, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Green Cliff, Honley from a point approximately 36 metres north of Greenway Cliff to its junction with Thirstin Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Church Street, Westgate, Thirstin Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 28 October 2026 and remain in force until 30 October 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ST HELEN’S GATE, ALMONDBURY, HUDDERSFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of St Helen’s Gate, Almondbury from its junction with Dark Lane for approximately 70 metres in a south easterly direction PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of St Helen’s Gate, Arkenley Lane, Birks Lane, Dark Lane.

It is intended that the closure will operate on Saturday, 10 October 2026 between 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(RIDINGS FIELDS, BROCKHOLES, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Ridings Fields, Brockholes from a point outside property no. 72 to a point outside property no. 74 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 12 October 2026 and remain in force until 14 October 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(MOORSIDE ROAD, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moorside Road, Honley from a point outside property no. 44 to a point at the end of property no. 44 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Scholes

Road Closure
Cumberworth Road/Ponker Lane - from its junction with Shelley Woodhouse Lane to its junction with Commercial Road

Point Closures

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in a westerly direction that length of Longroyd Lane from junction with Manchester Road to its junction with Triangle PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Crosland Moor, Huddersfield:-

Road Closure
Blackmoorfoot Road - from its junction with Thewlis Lane to a point to the end of Justin Way
Point Closures
The following roads at their junction with Blackmoorfoot Road:-
