NOTICE is given that HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following length of roads ("the Roads"), except for access:-
1. That length of Folly Lane, St Ippolyts from its junction with Ashbrook Lane southwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 180m.
An alternative route will be via: Hitchin Lane, A602 Stevenage Road, Stevenage Road, Blakemore End Road, Stevenage Road, Sperberry Hill and Folly Lane.
2. That length of Stevenage Road, St Ippolyts from its junction with Folly Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 40m.
An alternative route will be via: Folly Lane, Sperberry Hill, Stevenage Road, Blakemore End Road, Stevenage Road, A602 Stevenage Road, B656 London Road and Stevenage Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order will come into effect from 26 October 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(Temporary Traffic Management Measures On Orchard Way And The Footpath Fronting Nos.5-31 Orchard Way, Breachwood Green) Order 2026
NOTICE is given that HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following length of road ("the Road"), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of Road whilst works are in progress:-
1. That length of Orchard Way, Breachwood Green from its junction with Lower Road north westwards and south westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
Additionally all pedestrians are prohibited from using the footpath fronting Nos.5-31 Orchard Way, Breachwood Green (the Footpath) junction with Orchard Way north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 90m ("the Footpath").
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road and Footpath.
The Order will come into effect from 26 October 2026 and will be valid for a period of 6 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road and Footpath.

NOTICE is given that HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Pryor Way, Letchworth Garden City from its junction with Radburn Way north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Baldock Lane, a distance of approximately 372m (the "Road").
An alternative route will be via: Radburn Way, A505 Letchworth Gate and Baldock Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Stevenage Public Footpath No.063 from its junction with Orchard Crescent north eastwards for a distance of approximately 80m ("the Public Footpath").

1. That length of Webb Rise, Stevenage from its junction with Lonsdale Road eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with A1155 Fairlands Way, a distance of approximately 672m.

(Temporary Closing Of Various Cycle Tracks And Cycle Track/Footpaths In Baldock And Stevenage) Order 2026
NOTICE is given that HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all cycle/vehicular traffic from using:-
1. To prohibit all pedal cycles from using the cycle track situated between No.5 and No.7 Bush Spring, Baldock from its junction with Bush Spring north westwards for a distance of approximately 89m ("the Cycle Track").
An alternative route will be via: Bush Spring.
2. To prohibit all pedal cycles/pedestrians from using the following lengths of cycle track/footpaths ("the Cycle Track/Footpaths"):-
a) the cycle track/footpath situated on the north side of No.185 Fairview Road, Stevenage from its junction with Fairview Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Watson Walk, a distance of approximately 117m.
An alternative route will be via: Chequers Bridge and Watson Walk.
b) the cycle track/footpath situated on the south side of ‘Bedford House’, Stevenage from its junction with A1072 Gunnels Wood Road south westwards and south eastwards to its junction with Crompton Road, a distance of approximately 358m.
An alternative route will be via: A1072 Gunnels Wood Road, Clovelly Way, Redcar Drive and the cycle track/footpath situated on the west side of ‘Astute House’.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycle Track and Cycle Track/Footpaths.
The Order will come into effect from 26 October 2026 and will be valid for a period of 6 months. The works are scheduled to take 5 days to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Cycle Track and Cycle Track/Footpaths.

1. That length of Mansfield Road, Baldock from its junction with Weston Way north eastwards to its junction with B197 High Street, a distance of approximately 400m.
An alternative route will be via: Weston Way, B656 (Letchworth Road/Hitchin Street) and B197 High Street.
2. That length of Whitehurst Avenue, Hitchin from its junction with Strathmore Avenue south westwards to its junction with Wilton Road, a distance of approximately 70m.

5. That length of 5U1748 (unnamed road), Bygrave from the access road leading to Bygrave Public Bridleway No.007 north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with A505 Royston Road, a distance of approximately 90m.
There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. The A505 southbound slip road leading onto A505 Baldock Bypass, Baldock from the access road leading to Rushden and Wallington Public Bridleway No.041 south westwards to its junction with A505 Baldock Bypass, a distance of approximately 75m.
