SHENSTONE PARISH (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 1/10/26 made an order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the section of Public Footpath No. 3 Shenstone Parish from its junction with Footherley Ln for approximately 1030m in a generally northeasterly direction.
The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) due to the unsafe condition of the footbridge and subsequent works required.
No alternative route is available.
A plan will be displayed on site to show the length of path to be closed and unaffected rights of way in the area.
This Order came into operation on 6/10/26 and will extend the restriction which came into place on 15/9/26 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

13 TONNES GROSS) ORDER 2026
Staffordshire County Council on 6/10/26 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit the use by any heavy commercial vehicle exceeding a maximum gross metric operating weight of 13 tonnes Brookhay Ln, Hilliard’s Cross. Documents may be examined during opening hours at Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and at Lichfield Library, The Guild of St Mary’s Centre, Market Square, Lichfield, WS13 6LG or request via email: trafficregulationorderobjections@staffordshire.gov.uk. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 9/10/26

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 6/10/26 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:

The Order will come into operation on 12/10/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 25/10/26. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the rising main installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:

The Order will come into operation on 23/10/26 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
