ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(GLEBE GATE, THORNHILL, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Glebe Gate, Thornhill at a point outside property no.13 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Glebe Gate, Valley Road, Church Lane, Frank Lane, St Michael’s Mount.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 28 October 2026 and remain in force until 5 November 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BALMFIELD CRESCENT/BALMFIELD, ROBERTTOWN, LIVERSEDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Balmfield Crescent/Balmfield, Roberttown, Liversedge from its junction with Norristhorpe Lane to its junction with Huddersfield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Huddersfield Road, Lumb Lane, Norristhorpe Lane.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 1 November 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WHARF STREET, SAVILE TOWN, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wharf Street, Savile Town from a point to side of no. 78 to a point outside property no. 64 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Wharf Street, Warren Street, Orchard Street, Savile Road.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 30 October 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BRUNSWICK STREET, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Brunswick Street, Dewsbury from a point outside property no.12 to a point outside property no.16 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Brunswick Street, Anroyd Street, Back Brunswick Street, Reservoir Street.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and remain in force until 30 October 2026 between 07:00 hours to 19:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(NORWOOD AVENUE, BIRKENSHAW, BRADFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Norwood Avenue, Birkenshaw from a point outside property no.19 to a point outside property no.14 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

There is no alternative diversionary route available.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 27 October 2026 and remain in force until 2 November 2026 between 08:00 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(FAIRFIELD AVENUE, HECKMONDWIKE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Fairfield Avenue, Heckmondwike from a point outside property no.15 to a point outside property no.17 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Fairfield Avenue, Fairfield Road, Hollinbank Lane, Oliver Road, White Lee Road, Dale Lane.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 14 October 2026 and remain in force until 15 October 2026 between 08:00 hours to 18:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
