NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an
Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Main Street 100m either side of the rail bridge from Tuesday 13th October until Thursday 15th October 2026.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Rose Lane, Rotherham Lane, High Street, Hooton Lane and vice versa.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice from 9pm on 21st October until 5am on Thursday 22nd October 2026.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes for vehicles affected by the Order will be:
For vehicles under 14’6” in height via A6022 Swinton Road, Wath Road Mexborough Relief Road Roundabout, Greens Way” Bank Street, Adwick Road Roundabout, Doncaster Road, Barnbury Bridge, Bambury Bridge Roundabout, Hill Top Road, Old Road, Sheffield Road, Kilnhurst Road, Hooton Road, Victoria Street, Wentworth Road, Warren Vale Road Roundabout, Warren Vale, Woodman Roundabout, Blackamoor Road, Warren Vale Road, Rockingham Road, Church Street, Station Street, Bridge Street, Rowms Lane and vice versa.
For vehicles over 14’622 in height via Marriott Road, Whitelee Road, Whitelea Road, Wath Road and vice versa.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Rail bridge inspection).
SCHEDULE
(i) Rowms Lane from its junction with Marriott Road to its junction with A6022 Swinton Road.
(ii) A6022 Swinton Road from its junction with Rowms Lane to its junction with Mexborough relief road roundabout.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Dale Road between properties 60 and 64 Dale Road from Monday 19th October until Friday 30th October 2026.
NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (electric works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along that part of Public Footpath 3 Orgreave commencing from a point on B6066 Highfield Spring at Grid Reference SK 4155 8731 and proceeding in a south westerly direction for a distance of 70m to a point at Grid Reference SK 4149 8726 from Saturday 17th October 2026 for a period of six months.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for pedestrians will be via signed diversions.
The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath (preparatory earthworks for residential development).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets.
The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Carriageway resurfacing).

October and Wednesday 11th. November 2026.
NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via local neighbouring streets except for cul de sacs. The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (Carriageway resurfacing).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council acting in its capacity as traffic authority for the Borough of Rotherham has made the above-mentioned Order on the 10th. September 2026 which comes into effect on the 12th. October 2026. Notice of the proposal for making the Order was published in the Rotherham Advertiser on the 20th November 2025. The Order shall impose changes to the speed limit affecting the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council acting in its capacity as traffic authority for the Borough of Rotherham has made the above-mentioned Order on the 29th September 2026 which comes into effect on the 12th October 2026. Notice of the proposal for making the Order was published in the Rotherham Advertiser on the 23rd October 2025. The Order shall impose changes to the speed limit affecting the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
SCHEDULE
In relation to Schedule No.2 thereto, Speed Restricted Roads 20mph there were inserted the following items:- (cccxxvi)
