(DELL ROAD, WHITTINGTON OVAL, WHEATCROFT ROAD & DEEPMOOR ROAD) (TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2026

(BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, BIRMINGHAM) (PEDESTRIANISED SCHOOL STREETS) ORDER 2021) (VARIATION) (No. 2) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council have made Orders under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35,101 and 102 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers the effect of which will be as follows:

• Prohibit motorised vehicles except Permit Holders, Blue Badge Holders and Authorised Vehicles, on the following lengths of road during the times specified:

BREEDON ROAD, STIRCHLEY Monday to Friday, between 8.30 to 9.15am and 2.45 to 3.30pm

WHITTINGTON OVAL, GARRETTS GREEN Monday to Friday, between 8.30 to 9.00am and 3.00 to 3.45pm

COTYSMORE ROAD, SUTTON TRINITY Monday to Friday, between 8.15 to 9.00am and 2.45 to 3.45pm.

• Introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on lengths of DELL ROAD, STIRCHLEY; WHITTINGTON OVAL, WHEATCROFT ROAD & DEEPMOOR ROAD, GARRETTS GREEN

• Vary the hours of operation of the existing Pedestrian Zone on ALSTON ROAD, HEARTLANDS to Monday to Friday, between 8.15 to 8.45am and 3.00 to 3.30pm

These Orders will come into operation on 9th October 2026.

If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of the provisions contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to these Orders may within 6 weeks from the 8th October 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
