(PROHIBITION TO MAKE A U-TURN) 
ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act) and all other enabling powers, and after with the Chief Officer of Police made the above Order on 9 October 2026 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from turning so as to face in the opposite direction to that in which they were proceeding, when travelling in a westbound direction along the section of road 
specified below:
A4 (Bath Road): From a point approximately 77 metres west of its junction with the Thicket Roundabout to a point approximately 170 metres west of its junction with the Thicket Roundabout.

Copies of the documents detailing the proposals can be inspected at Maidenhead Library, St Ives Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1RF, between the hours of 9:30am-5:30pm Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 12:30pm-5:30pm Wednesday, 11am-7pm Thursday, 10am-4pm Saturday, and 11am-2pm Sunday.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that a requirement of that Act or of any relevant Regulation made under it, has not been complied with, may, within six weeks from the 09 October 2026 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
