What is happening?

LIVERPOOL CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
PLANNING (LISTED BUILDINGS & CONSERVATION AREAS) ACT 1990

The following applications have been made to the City Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts.

26L/2567 - Former Heaps Rice Mill, Beckwith Street (1)
Applicant Chris Taylor, Legacie Contracts Limited. Planning application to vary condition 32 of planning reference 23L/0294 (To carry out works in connection with the conversion of the existing Mill buildings into residential apartments and ancillary uses; associated external alterations, including the refurbishment, replacement and realignment of windows, the removal of the masonry parapet and the erection of a two storey roof top extension; together with associated internal alterations, including the erection of a link bridge, retention/refurbishment of existing historic features, part removal of the existing structural and timber frames and the removal of internal northern core; and associated works) so as to allow amendments relating to approved Block D at Heaps Mill to facilitate the completion of a building approved as part of a substantial mixed use residential led regeneration project on a key site within the Baltic Triangle area of the City Centre.

26H/2546 - 148-150 East Prescot Road (14) Applicant Chris Jones (Forbes Jones Ltd). To replace 4 no. windows to front.

26H/2615 - 25 Castlefield Road (12) Applicant Thomas Farrelly.
To erect single storey extension to side and rear.

26H/2716 - 8 Lancaster Avenue (17) Applicant Simpson.
To widen existing pedestrian access so as to create vehicular access, install EV charging point and carry out hardstanding works.

26F/2696 - Dale House, 27-29 Dale Street (2) Applicant Luke Braithwaite, Madre Holdings.
To carry out alterations to the external shopfront, minor modifications to the existing external wall mounted services on Eberle Street and reconfiguration of the premises at basement, ground and first floor levels to operate as a restaurant/café (Use Class E) (Opening Hours Monday- Friday 0700-2300; Saturday 0700-2300 and Sunday/Bank Holiday 0700-2300).

Any comments you want to make must be received by 29th October 2026 and can be made online or in writing to the Director of Planning & Building Control, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH. 

In the event of an appeal against a refusal of planning permission, for a householder application only, which is to be dealt with on the basis of representations in writing, any representations made about this application will be sent to the Secretary of State, and there will be no further opportunity to comment at appeal stage.
