What is happening?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER NO. 2 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle to proceed along that part of Alexandra Road from its junction with B3022 Frances Road northward for a distance of 10 metres to the southern boundary of No 86 Alexandra Road.
The diversion for vehicles affected by this Order will be via Alexandra Road, Grove Road and B3022 Frances Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works, namely sewer lining works, and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order will be in operation each day between 09:00 hours and 16:00 hours from Monday26 October until Tuesday 27 October 2026.
The prohibition will be in operation when signs as prescribed
by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016
are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
