What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER NO. 3 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice,
o make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle to proceed along that part of Alexandra Road from its junction with Beaumont Road to its junction with St Leonards Avenue.
The diversion for vehicles affected by this Order will be via Alexandra Road, Grove Road, B3022 Frances Road and Alexandra Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works,
namely sewer lining works, and as a result there is the
likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order will be in operation each day
between 09:00 hours and 16:00 hours from Wednesday
28 October until Friday 30 October 2026. The prohibition
will be in operation when signs as prescribed by the
Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016
are in place to indicate the said restrictions
