WHYTELADYES LANE (PART), COOKHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING)
ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Whyteladyes Lane from the northern boundary of No. 113 Whytaledyes Lane southward to southern boundary of No. 109 Whyteladyes Lane.
The diversion route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Whyteladyes Lane, Lower Road, B4447 Maidenhead Road and High Road.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate works in the said road, namely to renew frame and cover in the carriageway and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall be in operation from 09:30 hours on Tuesday 27 October until 17:30 hours on Thursday 29 October 2026. Restrictions will be in place when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
