What is happening?

BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE

(BRANDLEHOW DRIVE, MIDDLETON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Brandlehow Drive from its junction with Latrigg Crescent to its junction with Lingholme Drive.

The Order is required to facilitate Substation maintenance works.

The Order will be operative from 08.30 hours until 16:00 hours on 12th October 2026.

The alternative route for vehicles will be via Latrigg Crescent, Windermere Road, Brandlehow Drive and vice versa.

(WITHINGTON STREET, CHARLES STREET, ROBERT STREET, HEYWOOD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding and/or waiting at anytime along

(i) Withington Street from its junction with Middleton Road for its entire length

(ii) Torrington Street from its junction with Withington Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

(iii) Charles Streett from its junction with Withington Street in a south westerly direction for a distance of 10 metres.

The Order is required to facilitate the safe repair of a frame & cover within the carriageway.

The Order will be operative from 09:30 to 15:30 on the 30th October 2026. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Middleton Road, Canal Street.

(FIELDING STREET, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Fielding Street from its junction with Clough Road for a distance of 35 metres in a south westerly direction.

The Order is required to facilitate electrical works within the carriageway and footway.

The Order will be operative from 09.00 hours until 16.00 hours each day from the 3rd November 2026 until 6th November 2026 as required.

Access will be provided if required and safe to do so. There is no alternative route for vehicles.

(GREENHILL ROAD, MIDDLETON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (No.2) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting at any time along the northerly side of Greenhill Road from its junction with Vicarage Lane/Church Road for a distance of 54 metres in a south easterly direction (to outside Number 49a Greenhill Road). 

The Order is required to facilitate water works within the Carriageway & Footway and to allow for unobstructed vehicular travel along Greenhill Road past Road Works.

The Order will be operative from 07.30 hours on 2nd November 2026 until 18.00 hours on 6th November 2026.
