TEMPORARY CLOSURE C284 CLARENCE ROAD (WOTTON UNDER EDGE TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C284 Clarence Road, from its junction with Orchard Way to the layby outside Clarence Court for a distance of approximately 40 metres. The reason for the closure is for carriageway patching works.

The said road is expected to be closed on 15th October 2026 only.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401411 EVERLANDS (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401411 Everlands, from outside the property known as ’50 Everlands’ to outside the property known as ’46 Everlands’ for a distance of approximately 20 metres. The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Openreach.

The said road is expected to be closed from 14th October 2026 until 16th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 501701 STAMBOURNE LANE (BERKELEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 501701 Stambourne Lane, for the whole length of the road for a distance of approximately 210 metres. The reason for the closure is for fibre installation works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 12th October 2026 until 18:00 hours on the 18th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C234 ROAD FROM A38 TO THE YEWS (HAM AND STONE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C234 Road from A38 to The Yews from outside the property known as ‘1 Court Mead’ to its junction with the A38 for a distance of approximately 260 metres. The reason for the closure is for sewer repair works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 26th October 2026 until 13th November 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE A4135 SILVER STREET (DURSLEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the A4135 Silver Street Road from its junction with Long Street to its junction with Water Street for a distance of approximately 145 metres.

The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:00hrs and 16:00hrs on 25th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C284 DYERSBROOK (WOTTON UNDER EDGE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C284 Dyersbrook from its junction with Ludgate Hill to outside the property known as ‘1 Dyers Brook’ for a distance of approximately 70 metres. The reason for the closure is for manhole replacement works.

The road is expected to be closed from 26th October 2026 until 27th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH LHT 62 (HILLESLEY AND TRESHAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order to temporarily close under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath LHT 62 from its junction with Kilcott Road in a generally South Westerly direction for a distance of approximately 1150 metres to its junction with Kilcott Road. The Footpath falls in Hillesley and Tresham Parish in the Stroud District and in the County of Gloucestershire. The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst Water Main works are carried out.

The Footpath is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 19th October 2026 until 17:00hrs on 19th February 2026. However, the Order can permit the closure of the Footpath for up to six months from the date of the initial closure. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

Alternative Routes – No Alternative route. Emergency access to adjoining premises will be maintained. Pedestrian access will not be maintained due to nature of works being carried out.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS OHS 43 AND OHS 55 (HAM AND STONE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council Intend to Make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Footpaths as described in the schedule below;

Schedule

Public Footpath OHS 43 from its junction with from Court Meadow extending in a generally south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 250 metres to its junction with OHS 55.

Public Footpath OHS 55 from its junction with OHS 43 extending in a generally south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 60 metres to its junction with Court Mead.

The closures are necessary to protect the public during essential drainage works.

The Order will come into force on the 19th October 2026 and it is anticipated that the Public Footpaths will close on that day until 29th November 2026. However, the Order can permit the closure of the Footpath for up to six months from the date of the initial closure. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

Alternative Route: As signed on site. Emergency Service access and pedestrian access to adjoining premises will be maintained.
