DYMA HYSBYSIAD bod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, ar ôl o leiaf 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad yma, o dan Adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, fel y'i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991, a fydd yn para deunaw mis ar y mwyaf.

Mae angen cyflwyno’r cyfyngiadau yma er mwyn hwyluso gwaith cloddio yn y ffordd a gosod siambr newydd.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd:
1. Cau Ffordd Dros Dro
• Heol y Coed, Trefforest, o ochr gogledd-orllewin o’i chyffordd â Theras y Clogwyn, tua’r gogledd-orllewin am 80 metr.

Llwybr amgen – ewch ar hyd Heol y Coed, Bryn Stow a Stryd y Tŵr

2. Gwahardd Aros Dros Dro
Atal unrhyw gerbyd rhag stopio ar y darn canlynol o ffordd:-
• Stryd y Tŵr, o’i chyffordd â Bryn Stow i gyfeiriad y gogledd-orllewin am bellter o 20 metr.

• Bryn Stow, o’i gyffordd â Heol y Coed i bwynt 5 metr i’r de-orllewin o’i gyffordd â Stryd y Tŵr Mae atal cerbydau rhag stopio yn angenrheidiol er mwyn cynnal mynediad i fysiau trwy’r dargyfeiriad, tra bo’r ffordd ar gau.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys, i gerddwyr ac i eiddo.

FYDD DIM mynediad ar gyfer bysiau, coetsis neu drafnidiaeth gyhoeddus.

Mae disgwyl i'r ffyrdd fod ar gau rhwng y dyddiadau ac amseroedd canlynol neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau:-
• 8am – 5pm 25 Hydref – 27 Hydref 2026

RHONDDA CYNON TAFF
COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (WOOD ROAD, TREFOREST)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF STOPPING AND ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.

The restrictions are necessary to facilitate excavation works in the carriageway and the installation of a new chamber.

The effect of the Order will be:
1. Temporary Road Closure
• Wood Road, Treforest, from the north-western side of its junction with Cliff Terrace, north-westwards for a distance of 80 metres.

Alternative Route – available via Wood Road, Stow Hill and Tower Street

2. Temporary Prohibition of Stopping
Prohibit any vehicle from stopping on the following length of road:-
• Tower Street, from its junction with Stow Hill, north-westwards for a distance of 20 metres.

• Stow Hill, from its junction with Wood Road to a point 5 metres south-west of its junction with Tower Street.

The prohibition of stopping is necessary to maintain access for buses through the diversion, while the closure is in place.

Access will be maintained for emergency services, pedestrians and to premises.

Access WILL NOT be maintained for buses, coaches or public transport

The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -
• 8am – 5pm 25th October – 27th October 2026
