TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401497 CHAVENAGE LANE (TETBURY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401497 Chavenage Lane, from its junction with Romney Road to its junction with Charlton Lane for a distance of approximately 690 metres. The reason for the closure is for pole testing works by Openreach.

The road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 13th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 501450 WEST END (AVENING PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 501450 West End from outside of the property known as ‘Vale Farm’ to its junction with Avening Footpath 7 for a distance of approximately 382 metres. The reason for the closure is for pole testing works by Openreach.

The road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 9th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401306 ROAD FROM CROWN INN TO LOWER MANOR FRAMPTON MANSELL (SAPPERTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401306 Road from the Crown Inn to Lower Manor Frampton Mansell, from a point at ‘Bakers Mill Lock’ to a point adjacent to ‘The Railway Bridge’ for a distance of approximately 235 metres.

The reason for the closures is for drainage works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 12th October 2026 until 30th October 2026.

Alternative Route: as signed on site. Emergency access will be maintained. Pedestrian access will not be maintained as excavations are in middle of a narrow lane.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS TOWNS AND PARISHES) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict, the length of roads, at the times, as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the said closures and restrictions is for carriageway resurfacing works. There will be no stopping or waiting and no loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted at various times, on a rolling programme commencing from 14th October 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the said closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures and restrictions taking effect.

This Order may permit the said closures and restrictions in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 31st December 2026. However, if the works are not completed by this date, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months.

The road is expected to be closed from 26th October 2026 until 30th October 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
