Mae Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd wrth arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), a’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, yn bwriadu, mewn dim llai na 7 diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn atal unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio neu deithio ar hyd yr A4232 i gyfeiriad y gogledd o’r gyffordd â ffordd ymadael Lecwydd hyd at y gyffordd â ffordd ymadael Croes Cwrlwys.
Mae’r Gorchymyn yn ofynnol i hwyluso gwaith ar neu ger y briffordd, a disgwylir iddo fod mewn grym o ddydd Gwener 16 Hydref 2026 tan ddydd Iau 22 Hydref 2026 neu nes bod y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau.
Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau sy’n cael eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.
Y ffordd amgen i gerbydau yr effeithir arnynt gan y Gorchymyn cau hwn fydd ar hyd Heol Lecwydd, Heol Atlas, Heol Lansdowne, Heol Ddwyreiniol y Bont-faen a Heol Orllewinol y Bont-faen.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC PROPOSAL
THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF
(A4232, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers intends in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicle from using or proceeding along the A4232 in a northbound direction from its junction with the Leckwith off slip road to its junction with the Culverhouse Cross off slip road.
The Order is necessary to facilitate works on or near to the highway and is expected to be in operation from Friday 16th October 2026 until Thursday 22nd October 2026 or until works are complete.
The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the above closure will be via Leckwith Road, Atlas Road, Lansdowne Road, Cowbridge Road East and Cowbridge Road West.
The Order will be known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (A4232, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2026”.
