MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC152854341: The City of Manchester (Pembroke Street, Cheetham Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Pembroke Street, From St James Road to North Clifden Lane. The alternative routes for traffic will be: St James Road, Great Cheetham Street East, North Clifden Lane. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Utility Works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 21st October 2026 to 10th November 2026 . The order shall come into operation on 21st October 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
