TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
SLEETMOOR LANE, ALFRETON
WHEN: 26 October to 28 October 2026, (between 22:00 to 06:00 only).
WHERE: Sleetmoor Lane, Alfreton, from Jct. of B6179 for approx. 70m.
REASON: To facilitate meter, rebuild chamber work.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Sleetmoor Lane, B6017, B6016, B6179 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
