THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Bo'ness Road, Grangemouth from 07:00 on 11/10/26 until 19:00 on 12/10/26. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily restricts a right turn from a point adjacent to Grangeburn Road in a northerly direction.
2. The alternative route is Bo’ness Road, Station Road, Timber Basin Roundabout, Station Road and Bo’ness Road.

Elizabeth Avenue, Grangemouth from 07.30 on 12/10/2026 until 17.00 on 16/10/2026. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.
1. This Order temporarily closes Elizabeth Avenue for approximately 290m from Moray Place to Crichton Drive
2. The alternative route: Moray Place, Oxgang Road, Crichton Drive and vice versa.

Bankside, Falkirk from 08:00 on 12/10/26 until 17:00 on 25/10/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Bankside, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Mungalend in an easterly direction for approximately 900 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Mungalend, A9, Abbots Road, Bankside or vice versa.

C15 Lochgreen Road, Allandale from 08:00 until 23:59 12/10/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes C15 Lochgreen Road, Allandale from a point adjacent to Blackhill Farm in a northerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: C15, C16, B816, C15 or vice versa.

B8022 and Leppie Road, from 07:30 on 12/10/26 until 17:00 on 23/10/26. The prohibition is to allow road drainage works to be carried out safely.
1. This Order temporarily closes:
a) B8022, from the entrance to the Summer Lodge, to a point outside 4 The Neucks.
b) Leppie Road from Avonvale Cottage to its junction with B8022.
2. Alternative Routes:
a) Northern diversion: Leppie Road, Darnrigg Road, B803, B8022 and vice versa.
b) Southern diversion: B8022, B825, B8022, and vice versa.

Hawley Road, Falkirk from 07:30 on 12/10/26 until 17:00 on 16/10/26. The prohibition is to allow carriageway repair works to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily closes: Hawley Road, Falkirk from its junction with Moncks Road to its junction with Wolfe Road and its junction with Oliver Road
2. The alternative route is Hawley Road, Moncks Road, Cromwell Road, Oliver Road and vice versa.

Campsie Road, Grangemouth from 07.30 on 14/10/2026 until 17.00 on 16/10/2026. The prohibition is to allow for carriageway resurfacing.
1. This Order temporarily closes Campsie Road for approximately 125m from Tinto Drive to the junction with Lomond Road
2. The alternative route: Tinto Drive, Cairngorm Road, Lomond Road and vice versa.

Windsor Avenue, Falkirk from 09:30 until 15:30 on 14/10/26. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Windsor Avenue, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Windsor Gardens in a westerly direction for approximately 150 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is Windsor Avenue, Blinkbonny Road, Windsor Road, Maggie Woods Loan, Bantaskine Drive, Windsor Avenue or vice versa.

Darnrigg Road, Slamannan, from 07:30 on 15/10/26 until 17:00 on 21/10/26. The prohibition is to allow road drainage works to be carried out safely.
1. This Order temporarily closes Darnrigg Road, by Slamannan, from the entrance to Strathavon Farm to a point 600m east of this entrance.
2. Alternative Routes: Darnrigg Road, Leppie Road, B8022, Avonbridge Road (B8022), High Street (B803), Main Street (B803), Darnrigg Road and vice versa.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Grahams Road, Falkirk from 07:00 on 11/10/26 until 19:00 on 12/10/26. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Grahams Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to 51 in a southerly direction on both sides for approximately 30 metres or thereby.
2. This order prohibits waiting on James Street, Falkirk from a point adjacent to 1-3 in a southerly direction on both sides for approximately 30 metres or thereby.
3. This order prohibits waiting on Campfield Street, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Grahams Road an easterly direction on both sides for approximately 50 metres or thereby.

Bo'ness Road, Service Road, Grangemouth from 09:00 on 13/10/26 until 18:00 20/10/26. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Bo'ness Road, Service Road, Grangemouth from a point adjacent to Library Lane in a westerly direction on both sides for approximately 30 metres or thereby.

Main Street, Standburn from 07:00 until 19:00 on 14/10/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repair to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Main Street, Standburn from a point adjacent to number one in a westerly direction on both sides for approximately 250 metres or thereby.

Stirling Road, Larbert from 09:30 until 15:30 on 14/10/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repair to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Stirling Road, Larbert from a point adjacent to Old Bellsdyke Road in all directions on both sides for approximately 120 metres or thereby.
