NEW ROAD, RIDGEWAY, RIPLEY
WHEN: 24 October to 28 October 2026
WHERE: New Road, Ridgeway, Ripley from its Jct. with A610 Riversdale for an approx. distance of 310m in a south-easterly direction.
REASON: To facilitate repair and maintenance of water assets. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ridgeway Lane, Slack Lane, Shop Lane, Brook Street, Dungley Hill, B6374: Ripley Road / Upper Hartshay / Heage Road, B6441 Hartshay Hill, Hartshay Interchange, A610 Ripley Road, Ladygrove, Riversale and vice versa.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FROM CROSSROADS AT CRICH LANE: Crich Lane, Spanker Lane to join diversion at Brook Street. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
