Portsmouth City Council (Kinross Crescent) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.164) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 22nd October 2026 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
KINROSS CRESCENT
From its junction with Old Manor Way to side of No. 74 Old Manor Way.
LOWER DRAYTON LANE
From outside Electricity Sub Station to junction of Old Manor Way.
B) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
OLD MANOR WAY
From outside No. 94 Old Manor Way to outside No. 57 Old Manor Way (both sides).
C) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate electric cable installation works.
D) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 22nd October 2026 to 27th November 2026 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between 08:00 - 18:00.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Kinross Crescent, Old Manor Way and Lower Drayton Lane, Dysart Avenue, Invergordon Avenue.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
